assalamualaikum warahmatullah hiwabarakatuh!

wooohooo...can u believe it? im in newcastle already!

alhamdullillah the journey to get here was great. tiring, but it was really great, considering the fact that it was the first time i was travelling to another country.

the whole flight took about 7.5 hours. we had our in flight dinner or supper or whatever they call it around 1am in the morning! nthen i slept for around 3 hours then after subuh prayers ( secara duduk for the first time!) i watched a bollywood movie, "singh is king" which features akshay kumar. it was a really funny movie! hahah

once we arrived in sydney, the custom n quarantine inspection was a breeze, it wasnt as thorough as i thought it would be. n guess what? since i din have many things to declare, i ws the first one to come out and meet pn nik nora (pegawai mara) at the sydney airport. i was so HAPPY when she greeted me with a big hug!

and there were also some seniors who came with a banner saying welcome to newcastle!

baik kan?? seriously, the seniors here are SUPER DUPER nice. they are always there to help. whenever we need to get around in newcastle (let say to buy groceries or go to the post office) , they'll always offer to bring us around, despite their hectic schedule being a MEDIC student!

ok, for the past 2 weeks and 3 days, i have experienced n been to a lot of places. i really wanna upload my pictures here, but since im at the AIC ( sort of comlab but specialnya, we can get cookies, cakes and HOT CHOCOLATE here!), the pics are with 'fahri' (ok walid dont freak out, its not a guy but its my laptop's name..muahahah)

once i get my internet line at home, i promise i'll update my blog with lots n lots of pic! seriously!

so for now, im just gonna jot down whatever crosses my mind regarding living here in australia:

- banyak gila orang tua n jgak org obese. seriously! i feel like a model here. rasa paling slim eventho takde la kurus sgt. hoho. the ppls are really tall and big.

- barang kat sini relatively murah. (pls jgn convert). hot choc 2.60 je!!!! n cereal yg bapak besarrrr yg boleh makan 1 month) is only 5 dollars

- weather is very extreme. the day we arrived it was soooo hot. then it rained, then it was so cold that i had to sleep with 3 layers of clothes , and also with gloves and socks! it was that cold! and oh ya, here if it rains, it never stops. it can go on the whole day. it's not really cats n dogs like in msia but it just drizzles endlessly! n now, the sun is back! its damn hot i think im becoming dark!! nooo!
